Edward Tufte is a noted business statistician who is known for his scholarship in the realm of business graphics and the visual display of data and information. More recently, he's also published an essay entitled "The Cognitive Style of PowerPoint," in which he offers a scathing critique of PowerPoint and the ways in which it's used (and misused) in business and education.
After having read Tufte's argument, do you agree with him? Disagree? Why or why not?
Please read this file before class and bring your printed copy of it with you to class.
