Remember when we talked about quizzes and I said that everyone is allowed to have a bad day or two during the semester? Well, I guess I had one of mine on Friday. Somehow, I completely forgot to update the class website before the weekend arrived. I apologize for the slip up—it won't happen again.
Given how late this email is getting to you, don't worry about doing anything for Tuesday's class other than what we talked about on Thursday: come ready to discuss three different ideas for your Unit #2 project. You don't need to bring your textbook to class tomorrow—we'll be in workshop mode the whole time.
For Thursday, please read Chapter 10 and bring your book to class. At the beginning of class there will be a quiz, then you will need to submit a one-paragraph proposal for your Unit #2 project. We will spend the rest of the class session discussing visual rhetoric and document design, then (if time allows) we'll work on an instructional video exercise.
If you have any questions about these items, please let me know.
See you tomorrow morning!
